报告摘要：

Nonlinear complex systems are widely seen in most areas in natural science and engineering systems. Classical equilibrium statistical physics needs much extension to accomodate new features often shared by these systems - nonequilibrated, high-dimensional, finite-sized, highly heterogeneous. In this talk, tools and concepts for treating these systems will be presented together with typical applications in physics and biology.

个人简介:

兰岳恒助理教授于1997年获得北京大学物理系学士学位，后于2000年和2004年分别获得美国西北大学、佐治亚理工大学的硕士和博士学位，后在北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校及加州大学-圣塔芭芭拉分校做博士后研究。2009年加入清华大学物理系为助理教授。研究方向包括生物物理与系统生物学、非线性动力学、非平衡统计物理等。于2012年获得瑞典皇家工学院的Erasmus Mundus 系统生物学奖。被邀请为国际杂志Communications in Nonlinear Sciences and Numerical Simulation的编辑以及科学通报（China Science Bulletin）的编委。
