报告摘要：

In this talk, I will review the measurement problem and universality in quantum mechanics and the standard quantum limit imposed by the uncertainty relation on a repeatedly measured quantum system. Then I will describe how the development of laser interferometry in gravitational wave detection in the next few decades would be able to address these problems in the foundation of quantum mechanics and gravity.

主讲人简介：

刘润球，中科院理论物理博士，中科院数学与系统科学研究院研究员、博士生导师。主要研究广义相对论和量子场论的相关数学问题。近年来主要参与中国“空间引力波计划”，开展引力波探测。
